Information and Updates
As the end of the school year gets near, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank the incredible teachers who have worked tirelessly to inspire, guide, and support our students. Their dedication, creativity, and passion help shape the future by nurturing young minds and fostering growth in countless ways.. This week is a wonderful opportunity to recognize their hard work and the positive impact they have on our children's lives. Whether it’s through a kind note, a small gift, or a simple "thank you," let’s show our appreciation for all the ways they go above and beyond. Our teachers truly make a difference every day!
Live Spanish Interpretation now available at all graduations
We are pleased to offer live Spanish interpretation at all Tulsa Public Schools graduation ceremonies this year, free of charge. To access the interpretation, simply bring your mobile device and headphones, and scan the QR code that will be available at the venue for your convenience.
For those who are unable to attend in person, Spanish interpretation will be available through the graduation’s live stream.
We are proud to offer this service so that your family can fully participate in this very special celebration!
The 2025 Family Feedback Survey is open now!
Parents and guardians of Tulsa Public Schools students are encouraged to complete the survey at www.tulsaschools.org/survey to share their experiences. This brief survey is confidential and will take a few minutes to complete. We encourage all families to take the survey at least once. We know they may have unique experiences with each child or school, so they also have the option to complete the survey once for each student. Families will need their student’s ID number to complete the survey, and they should have received their ID numbers in an email from Superintendent Johnson earlier this week. They can also ask their child (it is their lunch number), check the PowerSchool Parent Portal, or contact their child's school or the enrollment center at 918-746-7500. If preferred, they can also send an email to SurveySupport@tulsaschools.org for assistance.
Help support your high school student’s ICAP progress
As we enter the last weeks of school, our secondary students are working extra hard to complete their coursework and graduation requirements. Individual Career Academic Planning (ICAP) is one of these requirements that students focus on throughout their high school years. It is a collaborative multi-year process that guides students as they explore career, academic, and postsecondary opportunities.
Tulsa Public Schools students are using a new online platform called Xello this year to complete ICAP courses. Xello Family is a version for parents and guardians to use to explore your child’s future goals and plans so you can better support their learning and development while also helping keep them on track. You can learn more about ICAP on our website and about Xello in this brief video.
Families of high school students should have recently received a Xello Family activation email through which you can register for access to your parent account. If you have any questions about ICAP or if you need help accessing your Xello Family account, please reach out to your school’s ICAP Coordinator.
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year
The second enrollment window for the 2025-2026 school year is now open. The enrollment window is an opportunity for families of currently enrolled students to explore the district’s 78 schools.
Families can enroll online 24/7 at enroll.tulsaschools.org. You can click here for an easy instruction guide for enrolling. Our online process allows you to submit your application even if you don’t have all of the necessary enrollment documents ready at your fingertips – you are able to go back and add them in later.
Summer Programs at Tulsa Public Schools
To best serve students who can benefit the most from extra support, summer learning for summer 2025 will be available for a limited group of students in 3rd through 8th grade at select school sites. Families whose elementary students are eligible to register for summer learning should have received email and phone notifications last week. Families of middle school students will be notified soon. You can email TPSsummer@tulsaschools.org for assistance if you have any questions. Additional summer opportunities open to Tulsa Public Schools students and families can be found at www.tulsaschools.org/summer.
